Sri Lanka is an island country in the northern Indian Ocean off the coast of South India in South Asia. Its coastline is 1 340 km long. There are many charming places worth visit in this area. Unawatuna is a major tourist attraction in Sri Lanka and famous for its beautiful beach and corals. Definitely must see are The Stilt Fishermen in Weligama. Stilt fishing is a method of fishing unique to Sri Lanka, where fisherman is sitting on a cross bar tied to a vertical pole planted into the coral reef. They hold the stilt with one hand while fishing with a rod or line using the other. Many tourists just skip capital of Sri Lanka. But I think Colombo is really worth visit.
